Job Description

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Transfer Pricing (TP) professional to play a pivotal role in the growth and direction of the TP team in the Firm. A key member of the management team, your role is essential to enhancing client experience, strategizing business development plans to grow our clients’ base exponentially as well as accelerating the team’s success.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and accurate advice to clients on Singapore and International Tax affairs by helping them understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of transactions.

• Advise and assist clients to comply with transfer pricing rules and plan comprehensive tax and transfer pricing strategies through the use of Organisation for Economic Cooperation (OECD) Guidelines and Singapore Transfer Pricing Guidelines' methodologies.

• Advise planning opportunities to our clients based on the OECD and Singapore TP Guidelines.

• Undertake functional analysis interviews, benchmarking studies and analysing the clients' issues to prepare transfer pricing documentation.

• Project manage regional and/or global transfer pricing projects.

• Assist with transfer pricing aspects of tax authority queries or formal audits.

• Coordinate with the HLB global network firms on client issues.

• Assess and identify business development opportunities.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Tax, Accounting or other relevant disciplines with 8-10 years of TP experience preferably in the Asia-Pacific and/or Europe Region and from a professional services firm.

• Highly motivated, self-driven and ambitious with track record of project management skills especially in regional and/or global transfer pricing projects.

• Proven leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills with excellent negotiation and communication skills (spoken and written).

• Highly efficient as an individual contributor with strong delivery management and timely execution of deliverables and simultaneously, be a team player when needed.

• Experienced and familiar with OECD and Singapore TP guidelines.

• Having an SCTP accreditation would be an added advantage.
