It is with much delight to share that Yin Tong, Managing Partner of Foo Kon Tan LLP, has been elected President of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) with effect 21 April 2018. Succeeding Dr Gerard Ee who has helmed the role since 2014, Yin Tong is joined by the following newly elected office bearers: Ms Yvonne Chan of Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Vice-President), Mr Balasubramaniam Janamanchi of JBS Practice PAC (Treasurer) and Mr Kelvin Tan Wee Peng (Secretary).

Taking over the reins, Yin Tong shared that the institution will continue to “equip members with the necessary skills and knowledge for the future economy” in light of disruptive technologies impacting the business landscape and profession. Together with his team, he pledges to also carry on with efforts to raise ISCA’s global prominence and empower members to achieve their professional aspiration through close collaboration with key stakeholders.
