Darren Chin is an audit partner with more than 18 years of experience in both external audit and assurance. He supervises and mentors team members with whom he works closely with and leads in the execution of effective and efficient audit assignments.

Experience

Darren has an established track record of delivering quality and timely risk management outcomes particularly in the domain of US IPO processes and post listing audit engagements. Darren has worked in various regional and global markets, including China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia and United States of America. Between 2003 and 2017, Darren held various positions within KPMG LLP Singapore, where he led engagement teams on various key US GAAP and PCAOB/US GAAS clients, MNCs, listed companies and reporting accountant engagements in the US Capital Markets. He was also routinely involved with the conduct of internal training courses in relation to US GAAP/GAAS, internal controls over financial reporting and quality performance review topics. In 2006, he was selected for a two-year secondment to KPMG London. Between 2017 and 2021, Darren was an audit partner in KPMG LLP Singapore. Darren was a Director of Corporate Services and Corporate Secretarial Head of Operations in a leading corporate service provider that was formerly publicly listed prior to joining FKT LLP in September 2022.
