Arthur brings more than 13 years’ experience in internal audit, assurance, risk management and internal controls advisory. He has experience working with local and multinational organisations across a diverse range of industries and business environments. He has led and managed internal audit and assurance engagements covering financial, operational and compliance reviews, and has experience in assessing internal controls, identifying areas of improvement and providing practical recommendations. He has also been involved in Business Continuity Management, compliance reviews and Enterprise Risk Management advisory assignments. Arthur also has experience applying data analytics and audit software to support audit testing and enhance assurance outcomes.

Experience

Prior to joining Foo Kon Tan, Arthur was a Senior Manager with the risk consulting practice in one of the Big 4 accountancy firms and an Assistant Director for one of Singapore’s listed real estate company.

Arthur has led and managed a number of internal audit and assurance engagements across various business functions and industries. His experience covers the full audit lifecycle, including risk assessment, planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up of audit findings and remediation actions.

His experience also includes communicating audit findings, key risks and recommendations to senior management and Audit Committees. He has managed and supported multiple audit teams, including planning, training and development, and has applied data analytics and audit software to support audit testing and assurance activities.
