Keng Chong has over 14 years’ experience in assurance and business risk advisory. He has considerable experience working with multinational corporations, private and public listed companies, and small and medium size enterprises. He has assisted clients in strategic and operational risk identification and assessment. He also conducted investigations related to procurement fraud and conflict of interest. He enjoys providing quality deliverables to his clients and it comes through in his approach to client service. Keng Chong also occasionally conducts workshops on Corporate Governance, SOX, internal controls, and fraud risk management.

Experience

Prior to joining Foo Kon Tan, Keng Chong was an associate director with the risk consulting practice in one of the Big 4 accountancy firms. Keng Chong has led a number of pre-listing internal audits and advisory work for companies that are listed on the Singapore Exchange. He is well-versed in the Code of Corporate Governance in Singapore and has assisted his listed clients in benchmarking the companies’ existing corporate governance practices vis-à-vis the best practices. Keng Chong also advised and assisted clients listed in the United States and Japan in SOX and J-SOX compliance. Other advisory related engagements include business process re-engineering and policies and procedures development.
